Most prominent in this skyline is the 605-foot Space Needle, built for the 1962 Worlds Fair. The tallest building is Bank of America Tower. SAFECO Field, visible on the right with its bright lights and a game in progress, is home to the Seattle Mariners baseball team. Just left of SAFECO Field is Seahawks Stadium, home to the Seattle Seahawks football team. In the distance is Mount Rainier. At 14,411 feet, it is the tallest peak in the Cascade Mountain Range. The body of water to the right is Elliott Bay, which connects Seattle to the Pacific Ocean via Puget Sound.
